Ceramic Garlic Keeper with Garlic Grater Lid - Seconds

A garlic keeper is a specialized, lidded storage container designed to extend the shelf life of whole garlic bulbs. It works by mimicking a traditional root cellar—providing a dark, dry, and well-ventilated environment that prevents mold, sprouting, and loss of flavor. To keep garlic fresh, you need to protect it from its three biggest enemies, light, moisture, and stagnant air.  The holes in these keepers offer fresh air while the lids keep away light.  As a bonus, the lids can be used as garlic graters.  Just clean and dry throughly before replacing the lid to keep the moisture away! 

This keeper is a lovely speckled cream color outside and a speckled golden yellow inside.  This is a second because the lid is a bit too small to fit properly - so there is quite a bit of back and forth wobbling.  Do I think this will still work properly? Absolutely.  Do I think this is as well made as the rest of my keepers?  Nope - but hey, these were my first run, so there had to be one, right? 

Measures 2.5" across and 3.5" tall (oh! this is also taller and narrower than it's fellow keepers.  So it stands out all around- but this shape is honestly, sort of cute too.)
