A squat, button-shaped vase thrown in porcelain, with a rounded belly and narrow flared neck. The exterior glaze breaks from a soft sage-green over the shoulder into warm honey-toned bare clay at the foot, where the glaze pulls back to reveal the porcelain body underneath. The interior is glazed in a cool blue-green, visible at the neck. The compressed, wide-bellied form gives it a grounded, tactile presence despite its small scale.
